HAWLEY, MN (KFGO-AM) -- Voters in Hawley have given their approval to an extension of an existing school tax levy and agreed to issue bonds of more than $11-million to remodel the high school and grade school.
In Pelican Rapids, voters said "yes" to a nearly $22-million referendum to fix up and renovate the middle school and high school.
D-G-F voters overwhelmingly approved both school referendums...one that continues the operating levy, and another that increases per pupil spending.
Detroit Lakes voters rejected a $59-million school building question. 58% of the voters turned down the proposal.
