MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-AM) - Prosecutors have dropped one of four charges that accuse a Moorhead woman of operating a home day care while drunk.
Jayne Cote still faces three counts of child neglect, or endangerment. Court documents say Cote's blood-alcohol level was 0.18 when police arrived at her day care following a tip from a parent.
Assistant Clay County Attorney Lori Conroy says the fourth charge was dropped due to lack of evidence.
Cote remains free on a personal recognizance bond. Her next court appearance is Dec.19.
