CARSON, N.D. (AP) - The prosecutor in Grant County has charge two white supremacists with terrorizing after they carried guns in a small North Dakota town they want to turn into a white enclave.
The sheriff arrested 62-year-old Craig Cobb and 29-year-old Kynan Dutton on Saturday after residents of Leith called for help, saying the two men were threatening them with guns.
Cobb said the group started armed patrols because of harassments.
Grant County authorities say Cobb and Dutton were charged with four counts of felony terrorizing and will appear in court Monday afternoon.
Cobb bought up property in Leith in hopes of attracting more white supremacists there and taking over the town's government. Dutton is among the first to join Cobb in Leith, about 75 miles southwest of Bismarck.
