FARGO, ND. (KFGO AM) -- A major ag conference will make its way to Fargo for the first time ever.
Organizers say the 2016 Agricultural Biotechnology International Conference will bring a lot of people to the community and to NDSU.
It will be the 20th year of the conference which showcases the partnership between university research and private industry.
Roger Reierson, CEO of Fargo-based AdFarm, one of the host organizations, says it's fitting to have the conference in one of the richest areas of agriculture in the world.
400 scientists and agricultural leaders from 68 countries are expected to attend the event.
