Fargo (KFGO AM) A warm welcome home for more members of the North Dakota Air National Guard's 119th Security Force on deployment to Afghanistan for 8 months.
Family and friends were on hand as 3 squadron members arrived at Fargo's Hector International Airport Thursday. It was the second deployment for Master Sargeant Joshua Clarke of Fargo as the airmen worked security missions at Bagram Airfield.
Clarke said there were a lot of rocket attacks and guys on patrol outside the base dealt with improvised explosive devices. He said it was an interesting mission..."glad we did it...but glad to be home."
The airmen's arrival was preceeded by last week's return of more than 20 other members of the 119th Security Force. More members will return in coming weeks.
