ST.PAUL, Minn. (KFGO AM) -- The Minnesota legislature has a week off for Passover and Easter.
House Majority Leader Erin Murphy says lawmakers have accomplished a great deal since session began in late February..... most notably, middle-class tax cuts and a minimum wage increase.
House Democrats are pushing for a second round of tax relief -- this time for property taxpayers.
A Women's Economic Security Act is also on lawmakers' must-do list, plus a Supplemental Budget Bill that Murphy wants to include help for those who care for the disabled and aging Minnesotans...plus money to expand broadband in greater Minnesota and to fix potholes.
Lawmakers must complete their work by May 19th.
