PARK RAPIDS, MINN. (KFGO-AM) -- A park rapids woman has been charged with felony animal neglect for tying two horses to a tree near Dorset. They were found dead and decomposing.
The Hubbard County Sheriff's office says Minden Crenshaw, 28, admitted to owning the horses. She told investigators that she tied them to a tree on a neighbor's property after her mother refused to let her have the horses at home. She admitted that she stopped caring for the horses early this month when she moved out of her mother's home.
The horses were discovered on April 12.
