Fresh from a couple of killer shows at Coachella -- one of them with special guest Billie Joe Armstrong -- The Replacements have announced a homecoming show in Minneapolis.
Though the band has played a few select festivals this year, the Minneapolis show -- taking place this fall -- will mark the Replacements' first full headlining show since just before their breakup in 1991, a gap of more than 33 years. Their last full-on toplining show was on the Fourth of July 1991 in Chicago's Grant Park -- a free show that attracted tens of thousands of fans.
Tickets are general admission and will go on sale next Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m. CT on etix.com .
