FARGO (KFGO-AM) - North Fargo will be jammed with cars and people Saturday night and police are reminding you about traffic issues.
The sold-out Katy Perry concert at the Fargodome, a Redhawk's game at Newman Outdoor Stadium and major road construction are expected to create delays. The concert and baseball game are expected to draw more than 25,000 fans.
Drivers should avoid using 19th Avenue and take 10th Street or Broadway to 17th Avenue to get to both locations. Digital signs and officers will be in the area, directing traffic.
Parking lots at the Dome open at 4 p.m. and there's additional parking at Fargo North High School and the Carlson Coliseum. Many local bars and restaurants are also using shuttle buses to get fans to the concert.
The Redhawks are also offering shuttle bus service from NDSU's "T-lot" on 12th Avenue before and after the game that starts at 6 p.m.
