Kings of Leon have canceled two more shows on their Mechanical Bull tour as drummer Nathan Followill continues to recover from the broken ribs sustained during an incident on the band's tour bus.

The band had expected to get back to work on Thursday, August 28, at the PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, but that show has now been canceled, reports The Star-Ledger .  In addition a show scheduled for the following night at the First Niagara Pavilion outside of Pittsburgh has also been canceled, according to the  Tribune-Review .

"I'm so bummed 2 have 2 cancel more shows but I need to be fully recovered before I get back. So sorry to the fans & thanks 4 understanding," Nathan tweeted on Tuesday.

The band was returning to its hotel after a show in Boston earlier in the month when the tour bus stopped short after a fan stepped in front of it.  Followill suffered broken ribs in the incident, and the band was forced to cancel all its tour dates since August 10.  Kings of Leon is still scheduled to perform this weekend at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia.
