The anguish and sorrow felt 'round the world earlier this week when Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen became so overwhelmed by his game's success that he removed it from the market didn't leave rockers untouched--at least not the members of Fall Out Boy . Pete Wentz and his bandmates were in Japan when news broke that Flappy Bird was soon to fly away, and he tells Rolling Stone , that they'd wake up before dawn and spend lots of time talking about the impending end of the game and what it all meant. "It seemed genuine that this was not the kind of attention that he wanted," Wentz said. The singer went on to reveal that he feels a kinship with Nguyen, because the breakout success of Fall Out Boy's first album, From Under The Cork Tree , made him feel like a sellout -- in fact, it's only now that he can relax and enjoy playing those songs live.

Pete Wentz and company decided to take their kinship with the Flappy Bird creator to the app store. The band promises that within a week's time, Fall Out Bird will be available for download -- a Flappy Bird clone where the bird is replaced by the band member of your choice, and Fall Out Boy's "Young Volcanoes" plays in the background.
