FARGO (KFGO-AM) The blizzard is over. Roads are slick. Those highways that were closed Friday night have re-opened but forecasters are warning of an Arctic blast that will usher in the coldest weather of the winter.
A number of advisories and warnings are posted for the region over the next couple of days.
Al Voelker of the National Weather Service in Grand Forks says dangerous cold will settle in Saturday with not much relief until at least Tuesday.
Sunday, daytime highs are expected to be 15 below to 20 below. Strong north winds will create windchill readings of 50 below to 55 below Saturday night and Sunday.
