WINONA, Minn. (KFGO AM) -- Authorities have recovered two bodies from a car that plunged into the Mississippi River in Winona.
The Winona County sheriff's office received a call after someone saw vehicle tracks leading into the river.
Responders found a broken guard rail on Riverview Drive, as well as a license plate, purse and other debris on shore.
Sheriff Dave Brand says an underwater camera spotted the car.
Authorities are trying to figure out what led to the crash.
