The Red Hot Chili Peppers may be sharing the stage with pop star Bruno Mars during the Super Bowl halftime show.
The Los Angeles Times reports that a source “with knowledge of the matter” says Mars is set to reveal that the Chili Peppers will perform with him during his headlining set at some point during Fox's coverage of Saturday’s playoff game between the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks. The newspaper adds they checked with an NFL spokesman and Mars' spokeswoman, but both declined to comment on the matter.
Super Bowl XVIII will take place on Sunday, February 2, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
