GRAND FORKS (KFGO-AM) -- A Lakota farmer has been ordered to spend three months in jail on a terrorizing conviction.
Rodney Brossart was found guilty in November in a standoff with Nelson County deputies in the summer of 2011 in a dispute over missing cattle. A judge sentenced Brossart to 90 days in jail followed by work release.
His three sons, each pleaded guilty to menacing. They were put on probation for a year and ordered not to have any guns for a year.
