MINOT, N.D. (AP) -- A search committee expects about 30 people to apply to be the next president of Minot State University.
Current President David Fuller is retiring in June. Presidential Search Committee Chairman Terry Hjelmstad says the group will be whittling down the list of candidates to succeed him over the next few weeks.
Committee members on Jan. 22 will choose between eight and 10 candidates to further explore, and in early February they'll invite five or six to campus for interviews.
The committee by the end of February will recommend three finalists to the state Board of Higher Education, which makes the final decision on presidential hires.
