CROOKSTON Minn. (AP) - A main highway in northwest Minnesota has reopened after being closed by blizzard conditions.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation and the State Patrol reopened Highway 2 from Crookston to East Grand Forks early Wednesday afternoon. About 30 miles of the highway had been closed because of heavy, blowing snow.
The deep freeze continues with high temperatures not moving above zero in some areas of the state. Overnight lows could drop to 30 below, without the wind chill.
