DRAKE, NORTH DAKOTA (KFGO-AM) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol is looking for a semi driver involved in a fatal hit and run crash near Drake. It happened on Hwy 52 around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A man, whose vehicle ended up in a water-filled ditch, got out and started walking for help. He was struck by a semi and killed.
The patrol says it was a maroon or red 2007 Volvo semi that was westbound, possibly traveling to Canada, Williston, or Montana. The semi sustained front passenger side damage to the grill, including fender and headlight area.
