FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Three teenage girls escaped injury after their car plowed into a building in downtown Fargo early Monday. The trio fled a traffic stop at a high rate of speed.
Police say the driver made it about 4 blocks before she lost control and struck the building at 4th Street and 2nd Avenue North. The 14-year old's then ran across the street to the Radisson Hotel. Officers found them hiding on the 13th floor.
The driver was taken to juvenile detention for vehicle theft. The car had been stolen from a grandmother and was totaled. the others were released to their parents.
