FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Authorities continue to search for the driver of a car that fled the scene of a roll-over near the I-94/ I-29 interchange in Fargo Monday morning.
Cass County Deputies tell KFGO News, the car was northbound on I-29 when the driver lost control, crossed the median and southbound lanes, and came to rest in the ditch. The car rolled multiple times, leaving a trail of debris along its path.
A passenger in the car told deputies the driver "didn't want to go back to prison" and ran. The man, who was injured, disappeared before police were able to set up a perimeter. A K-9 lost the track after a short distance. The passenger refused medical treatment at the scene.
