FARGO (KFGO-AM) - Work continues on more than $40 million worth of road construction in Fargo. All this week, contractors at one of the largest projects, the interchange at 25th Street south, will be doing night work that will require the temporary closure one lane of I-94.
Kevin Gorder, D-O-T Metro engineer says the forms and overhead safety canopy used while new beams were being installed on the bridge over the interstate are coming down.
The I-94 single lane closures will be from 8 at night until 6 the following morning.
Contractors are also doing seal coating in Fargo this week. The work started in south Fargo monday and will move north and should wrap up this friday. The city says this is a fast moving project and residents should pay attention to "no parking" signs which are posted on affected streets and avenues several days prior to work starting.
