LEITH, N.D. (AP) -- The town of Leith has invited Gov. Jack Dalrymple and members of North Dakota's congressional delegation to help the community celebrate its birthday and the end of a months-long clash with a white supremacist who unsuccessfully tried to take over.

It wasn't immediately clear if Dalrymple, Sens. John Hoeven and Heidi Heitkamp and Rep. Kevin Cramer planned to attend.

Leith is holding is 105th birthday bash the weekend of July 19-20. Town spokesman Greg Bruce says the event ''will be a celebration of freedom from the last nine months of terror.''

Craig Cobb is serving four years of probation for menacing and terrorizing residents. He no longer owns property in the town and has been ordered to stay away from his victims there. He's seeking to move to Missouri.
