PARK RAPIDS, MINN. (KFGO-AM) -- A doctor who lives near Park Rapids, remains in jail on charges of attempted murder.
Dennis Sullivan is accused of assaulting on his 10 year-old foster son by jamming his fist down the child's throat. A judge has ordered Sullivan held on $500,000 bail. Should be make bail, Sullivan would have to turn over his passport, not leave the state and have no contact with the boy or other children.
Sullivan's lawyer has told the judge that he'll ask for a mental evaluation. Sullivan lives in Benedict in Hubbard County. He was arrested in Grand Forks.
