BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ A 58-year-old Bismarck man is accused of holding a woman against her will in a motel room and raping her in the presence of her 7-year-old son.
A judge on Wednesday set bond at $150,000 cash for Kenneth Nash, who faces charges of gross sexual imposition, felonious restraint, interfering with an emergency telephone call and promoting obscenity to minors.
Court documents do not list an attorney for Nash. He could face life in prison if convicted.
Authorities say the woman and her child went to the hotel room to hang out with Nash, and that Nash would not allow them to leave on Tuesday. They eventually were able to escape. The relationship between Nash and the woman was not clear.
