NEW ULM, Minn (KFGO AM) -- A case in Brown County, Minnesota court could increase momentum in the state legislature concerning medical marijuana use.
Mankato lawyers Calvin Johnson and Elizabeth Levine will ask for a jury trial for a New Ulm man who faces criminal charges for growing marijuana only for his personal, medical use.
Johnson says the case for medical marijuana in Minnesota needs to go to the jury.
A recent survey by conducted by St. Cloud State University found 76-percent of Minnesotans favor legalizing medical marijuana.
