BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The state Capitol halls were turned into a shopping mall Thursday as more than 50 Pride of Dakota companies showcased their wares.
The Capitol hosted Pride of Dakota Day. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring said everything from food to jewelry was showcased. The booths filled the Capitol's Memorial Hall, Legislative Hall and west end ground floor.
More than 500 North Dakota companies are members of the Pride of Dakota branding program. The annual meeting is Thursday and Friday at the Bismarck Ramada.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple proclaimed March as Pride of Dakota Month and Thursday as Pride of Dakota Day.
