Gavin Rossdale apparently doesn't have his hands quite full enough. Though the Bush frontman recently celebrated the birth of his third son with wife Gwen Stefani , he's also apparently decided that there's been enough time since the last Bush album.
Rossdale and his band mates are staked out in Dave Grohl 's 606 Studios in Northridge, California, working on their follow-up to 2011's The Sea of Memories . Bush is working with Grammy-winning producer Nick Raskulinecz , who's helped out on releases from Foo Fighters , Rush , Deftones and Alice In Chains .
A press release from the band doesn't specify a release date for the new album, but does say that these days, they're working on "finishing touches." Bush's publicist confirms to ABC News Radio that the new material will "definitely" arrive this year.
Rossdale and Stefani welcomed son Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale on February 28 -- he joins big brothers Kingston , 7, and Zuma , 5, in the clan.
This December will mark the 20-year anniversary of the release of Bush's debut album Sixteen Stone . The album peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured three #1 songs -- "Glycerine," "Comedown" and "Machinehead." It's sold more than 6 million copies.
