BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- A judge has changed bond conditions so a former Bismarck teacher accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student can attend her son's high school baseball games.
The bond for 35-year-old Susan Duursma barred her from having contact with minors. Under the change approved by Judge Bruce Romanick, she's barred from having unsupervised contact with minors other than her own children.
Duursma is accused of a sex act with a teenage boy three times between March and July last year, when she was a physical education teacher at Wachter Middle School. She's since resigned.
Duursma has pleaded not guilty to three counts of corrupting or soliciting a minor and is scheduled for trial in early May. Her attorneys have asked Romanick to move the trial out of Burleigh County.
