WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) -- Williston police say domestic violence led to the shooting of a woman over the weekend, and that a man found dead of a gunshot wound the same day apparently killed himself.
But authorities have not drawn a connection between the two Saturday incidents near the city's downtown. Police on Monday identified the two people involved in the shootings as 27-year-old Tiffany Foster and 41-year-old Keith Foster. They say Tiffany Foster suffered three nonfatal gunshot wounds, and that Keith Foster suffered what was believed to be a self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound later at a nearby residence. Police are continuing to investigate.
